The Earth will bring forth its Praise

In the Psalms many of David's songs began in distress and concluded in victory. He journeyed from where he was to the throne, to the temple.

Israel sang his psalms as they journey from their homeland every year to the temple where they brought sacrific and were released from their sins for one more year. There is a progression in the psalms.

The following devotions are from Betty Slade's poetry books, "Within the Veil" and the second volumn "In His Presence".

A Pilgrim

Just a pilgrim passing through
The bounds of mere man
The rules of mere doctrine
Time given to mere earth.

This pilgrim has travelled
through time and space
to the heavenly city of faith.
The reality of life with God.

Operating ouside of time
As we submit to His purpose and plan
He passes talent
knowledge
and strength
To do exceedingly abundant of what
He asks or thinks,
according to the power
that works in tis mere pilgrim.

New Compassion and Mercies

Lady

New Compassion and Mercies

God has come to earth to save.
Our hearts are made clean
by His Son,
Jesus our King.

The guilt of all wrong has been done away,
new compassions and mercies in this day.

Oh, God,
how do we ever pay
for our lives in full array
Living in the Heavenly blessings of this day?

Our hearts to your Son! Respect for
what He has done,
dying for us
to show Your love,
Bringing the Spirit on the wings of a dove.

I understand how I can face another day,
My life hidden in Jesus

Only His name my lips must say,
New compassions and mercies in this day.

Our hearts are "His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

The Journey~~~~ Walk the Talk!

Living in the heavenly blessings of this day. Today, many things are happening, a grand opening, a Bible study, building shelves and doors.. We need His mercies and compassions in this day.

Mercies is an interesting word, when we hurt, we ask for mercy,  when we travel, we have for traveling mercy, when we go before God's throne, we ask for mercy, when the publican beat his breast and said, "Have mercy on me.", he went away justified.

That is what Jesus has done for us, He poured His blood on the Mercy Seat, and claimed us redeemed, saved, cleansed, righteous and justified.

We go to Him for mercy and in that we become justified. Yes, we need heavenly blessings in this day.
